The Feb 2011 Winter Break should be cancelled given that the students have already missed 4 or 5 days due to snow. And that doesn’t even count the the 90 minute delays and early dismissals.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that since x-mas break, the kids have been out more than there in. Also, what is the point of Feb break anyway - x-mas break was only 7 weeks ago. Do they really need another break or is it for the hardly working teachers?
Thank you for the input! However, the Community Council does not exercise control over schedule changes, as they affect the entire Darien Public School system and not just the high school. Best of luck in voicing your opinion to the Board of Education!
